BioThis is my cooking journal. I'm in the UK so most of my recipes will be UK measurements.

A little bit about me: I am in my twenties, studying and working full time. I try and cook from scratch every night but occasionally a jar of pasta sauce finds its way into my hand... I love experimenting and am happiest in my kitchen. :)
A little bit about politics: I am trying to live by the principles of Square Mile Living which means I try to avoid supermarkets wherever possible and shop from local butchers, bakers etc and of course the local Farmers Market. I am a supporter of the slow food movement and the slow movement overall. I believe in sustainable, organic methods and yes, I believe you should know where your food came from: the lower the number of food miles it costs, the better.
